We are located at 801 West Adams, at the cross streets of Halsted and Adams (Greek Islands Building), Chicago, Illinois 60601, on the fourth floor. If traveling by public transportation, exit blue line at UIC/Halsted stop and head three blocks north on Halsted street to Adams. ILLINOIS HUMANITIES COUNCIL - $10,000 Rembetika Exhibition Grant, June – December 2006

The MacArthur Fund for Arts and Culture at The Richard H. Driehaus Foundation - $10,000 General Operations Grant

CITY ARTS PROGRAM II MULTI-YEAR GRANT 2004-2006 - $7,500 General Operations Grant

The museum is always looking to expand its collections for exhibition and archival purposes. Items sought include: photographs of family members as well as organizations, business and trade images, phonograph records, icons, embroideries, books in Greek and English, household items, correspondence and military items. Many of these articles are being discarded as they are passed on from generation to generation. Please remember the museum as a place that aims to perpetuate the Greek heritage and as a place where these items will be stored and displayed. Call or bring these items to the Hellenic Museum, to the attention of curator Allison Heller.
